Saturday October 9th-Sunday October 10th
Natural Threads features the work of three Wynd Gallery artists, Audrey Imber, Jackie Uphill and myself, all are concerned with the natural form, shape and layers of the landscape and natural world.
I’ll be sharing my love of the small and delicate found in the natural world with a new collection of work to this exhibition, focusing on ‘the small things’, the hidden gems of the garden. During the exhibition you will be able to watch me weaving and join me a workshop to create your own repurposed nature inspired woven art.
Jackie produces vibrant and diverse textile and mixed media pieces, based on her interpretation of the world around her, which she often layers with a twist of fantasy.
Audrey’s work is based on real locations; her paintings are her response to the colours, layers and shapes found in the landscape. She aims to capture the ‘essence’ of a location rather than make a figurative representation.
Open daily 10am-4pm.

you say that you will be doing a workshop that weekend. Does it cost anything and what time would it be. Ive seen the one on thursday night 7-9 which is a bit late for me as the nights draw in. I would love to know if you do a weaving with rubbish workshop Tues/Thurs /Fri or Sunday during the day.
Hi Helen,
Now restrictions are lifted I am timetabling more face to face workshops. The best way to find out what, and when I am running workshops is to sign up for my newsletter.
I can also add you to an interested list for a future weaving with waste workshop.
Workshops do come with a cost, it will depend where they are run as to what the cost is.
I hope that helps.
Thank you
Lucy
