I am delighted to be showing four small weavings in the British Tapestry Groups ‘Threads In Sheds’ exhibition. The exhibition was first held at Whitchurch Silk Mill in 2021 and has now moved to Farfield Mill in Sedburgh, where the exhibition runs until the 27th March 2022.

The British Tapestry Group aims to preserve the heritage of tapestry weaving and celebrate contemporary weaving. For this exhibition we had to produce work that used a significant element of silk. My pieces are included in the small works showcase and each is created either with fine silk thread, or repurposed silk scarves.
