I am more than delighted to have my tapestry Hunting Tigers and Woolly Bears accepted in the British Tapestry Groups juried 20 years celebration exhibition – Picking up the Thread the Past Present and Future of Tapestry.

A touring exhibition showcasing the diversity and richness of contemporary tapestry weaving featuring the work of 68 artists from nine countries, the exhibition highlights the experience and skill of the British Tapestry Group membership in a celebration of 20 years of the groups existence.  Showing in varies UK venues, starting in August 2025 and finishing in July 2026.

The exhibition opens in Dumfries on August 16th at the Gracefields Arts Centre, until October 4th. Full details of the exhibition in Dumfries can be found on the Gracefields Arts Centre website HERE

The exhibition remains in Scotland for the rest of the year as it travels to Edinburgh, opening at The Dovecot Studios on October 20th – February 14th. Full details can be found on Dovecot’s website HERE.

During 2026 Picking up the Thread travels down to the Market Hall in Devonport between 2nd-18th March, with its final venue in London at Morley College between 13th-25th July.
