In some cultures, blue butterflies are seen as wish granters.
When I’m creating work most of my focus and wishes are for the natural habitats around us but when I was weaving Wish, I had an extra personal wish, which came true when we received the news that my husband is now cancer free.
Wish has fluttered off to the Letchworth Open, if you visit the exhibition and see my piece, blow gently on the dispersing woven seed head, and make a wish, I hope my blue butterfly grants your wish for you.
