Woven Trees Weaving Workshop

In this workshop, we will be working into a hoop to transform a simple warp into a unique and colourful tree using a selection of wools and fibres. You decide whether you want to work with the rich tones of autumn, look ahead to winter and Christmas or draw inspiration from the seasonal shades from earlier in the year.

Held in the inspiring atmosphere of The Wynd Gallery, this workshop invites you to explore your creativity while learning the art of circular weaving. Using woven surface texture and colour blending techniques, you’ll create your own woven tree choosing from a selection of colourful wools and fibres. Finish your hoop with a hanging loop for display.

Whether you’re an experienced crafter or a complete beginner, you’ll leave with your own handcrafted woven tree and skills to keep weaving at home.
