Wander and Weave: A Mindful Outdoor Workshop
Slow down, Wander, Weave and Relax at Radwell Meadows. Join me for a special Letchworth Festival launch of Wander and Weave at Radwell Meadows. This session is designed to help you disconnect from the flurry of life and switch off as you quietly engage with your surroundings.
Date: June 19th
Time: 10:00am-12:00 noon
Price: Pay-as-you-feel (Booking is essential as places are limited)
Location: Radwell Meadows Picnic Area
The session will begin with a gentle 30-minute wander; use this time for quiet reflection or a relaxed chat with friends as you take in the natural surroundings. Afterward, we’ll gather in the picnic area for a guided weaving session. Whether you choose to focus on vibrant colours, interesting textures, or simply the meditative rhythm of passing weft over warp, the focus is entirely on the process, relaxation, and enjoying the great outdoors.
No experience needed! I will demonstrate techniques to get you started, and all materials are provided.
Important Information
- The Wander: This is not a guided walk. Suggested routes are shown on the Radwell Meadows map, allowing you to choose a distance you are comfortable with. If you prefer to sit quietly in the picnic area rather than walk, you are very welcome to do so.
- Seating: There are picnic benches available, but please feel free to bring your own folding chair for extra comfort.
- Refreshments: Please bring your own drink/water.
- Facilities: There is a large car park on-site but please note there are no public toilets at Radwell Meadows.
- Weather: As this is an outdoor event, it may be cancelled if the weather is not in our favour.
Further details, including maps and how to book will be available from the end of April. If you wish to register your interest before booking is open please email me at lucy@lucysugden.co.uk
