The fungi series was woven in 2017, some of the first pieces of work made after a long break from my art. Fungi are very small individually woven tapestries in hand dyed monofilament and wire, displayed on natural pieces of wood. When exhibited they nestle among plants. My eye is often caught and intrigued by a glimpse of something growing on the woodland floor, the Fungi series aims to catch your eye to take a closer look. Fungi tapestries have only been made for exhibitions, displays and commissions. Interested, please get in touch.
